In October 2014, I left Iran to see what life might feel like outside my familiar world. It was a big step into the unknown, and it changed both my life and my work.
Looking back, my career feels divided into two parts: before and after immigration. Before, I was experimenting and trying to find my voice. After, I began to understand my style better, though I’m still growing and discovering every day.
I’ve illustrated over seventy books. Some were ordinary, some meaningful, and some truly transformative. A few brought awards, travel, festivals, and lifelong friends. Others taught me lessons about trust, boundaries, and patience.
I see my work as a continuous journey—there’s always more to explore. Below, you can find a selection of my achievements and milestones.
